Prime Day is Amazon’s house party. Cyber Monday is a wider internet sale with more non-Amazon merchants. Neither is automatically the lowest day of the year for your item.
What tends to be cheaper where
Echo, Kindle, and Amazon devices: Prime Day (and the mini-Prime events). Apparel brands and department stores: Cyber week, especially if they also do Black Friday. TVs and laptops: check both, then a January clearance.
Prepare like a project
Write a list with model numbers in November—or in June for Prime Day. Save 90-day screenshots. During the event, ignore anything that is not on the list unless the history chart is genuinely at a floor.
